ZENMED Derma Cleanse Review
Okay ZENMED Derma Cleanse… let’s see what you’ve got.
As you’re reading this you may be considering a course of Derma Cleanse for your acne. We have a test case which may help you to make up your mind about it.
Our Derma Cleanse test subject was Lee who has suffered from acne since his teens: facial acne has always been a problem for him but he also has mild acne on his neck and back.
Even though Derma Cleanse makes no lofty promises to cure acne (it is promoted as a treatment to help manage it), it has to be said that Lee was still skeptical. He has tried several treatments before with varying degrees of success but none of them have been “natural” or herbal like Derma Cleanse is. Like many of us, Lee was also worried about making his acne worse. This is a valid concern of course as many acne treatments do seem to cause some people to break-out.
So what is Derma Cleanse?
Derma Cleanse is a treatment that can be used in topical or capsule form. One of its selling points is that it is herbal, so the same types of adverse side-effects from more chemical based acne treatments are not such a concern. Also it shouldn’t react with other products you may also be using.
How Does Derma Cleanse Work?
The Derma Cleanse treatment is a course that lasts between 2-3 months depending on how severe your acne is. ZENMED advises that it takes between 2-4 weeks before the Derma Cleanse treatment can yield any positive results, but the optimum period of use advised is around the 12 week mark.
Derma Cleanse is designed to firstly tackle acne under the surface of the skin and secondly focus on keeping the surface free from acne lesions. This is achieved by managing skin oils and the skin’s pH in order to avoid pore clogging.
Does Derma Cleanse Make a Difference?
Well in Lee’s case there was definitively a visible improvement, although his acne did not miraculously clear up. Below are his words:
“I was using the Derma Cleanse capsules for around about three months. The spots on my face have got a lot better, but on my neck and back not quite as much. I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve seen up to now because I’ve tried a lot of things with either mixed or no results. To be honest, I’m more concerned about how my face looks anyway even though some of the spots on my back can be pretty painful.
Would I say that Derma Cleanse is worth trying? Well in my case, yes… even though I was a bit disappointed that my acne didn’t totally vanish. I also advise that during the time I was using Derma Cleanse I was also carrying on with my own washing routine, so I suppose I can’t tell you that you should just rely on the one treatment, but then again this is true for any acne treatment though… it’s best to try things out to see what works for you. Having said this I do believe it has made a positive difference.”
Derma Cleanse retails for around $99 for a three month course. For more details about the Derma Cleanse treatment visit the ZENMED website.
